The palate has that floral grassy nose that I frequently get with Irish whiskey, malty. The palate is fruity and dry, sweet, malted balls. The finish is medium with more floral notes. This is slightly better than the standard Bushmills expression

This expression is a blend of pot still whiskey and grain. The nose is quite nice, lots of fruit, apricot and nectarines. The palate is creamy and is rich compared to the 12 and standard Jameson expressions, figs and cinnamon with some walnuts. The finish is more of the same with fruit and cinnamon. I liked this expression for an easy drinking smooth blend. This is a simple expression that may be a great buy if you are a blend drinker but would like to pay less than you have been paying for Chivas 18 or JW 18. C+/B-

On the nose there is a lot of nice vanilla and wine. The palate is a lot more complicated than that of the Original Bushmill’s and has some nice cinnamon and malt. The finish is medium and a little hot. This expression was aged in sherry casks and is actually pretty good.

The nose is similar to a spanish cream sherry. The palate has some giant sherry going on that will tingle your taste buds and make you feel like they are being caressed. There is also a very nice orange or tangerine taste throughout. The finish is very long with the last bits of sherry still clinging to your mouth, nicely ballanced.  This tastes like a very good sherry that has met a solid single malt. I am an instant fan.

The nose on this is white wine but not much else. The palate is dry and unremarkable. The finish is hot even at 40% ABV because it lacks any character at all other then some lingering tart taste.  This taste like it came from the well in a dive bar. I would drink Jameson over this.
